Air conditioning repairs and servicing in Cape Town
All brands and all types of unit. Breakdowns attended by the next working day, and regular servicing that keeps your system running, and your warranty valid.
Common faults we fix
We repair every brand and every type of air conditioner, from a single bedroom split to a building's central plant. We find the cause first, then give you a written quote before any repair work starts.
Not cooling or heating
Weak airflow, warm air, or a unit that runs but never reaches temperature.
Water leaking indoors
Usually a blocked or badly run drain, and quick to put right.
Error codes and flashing lights
We read the code, find what's behind it and fix the cause, not just reset the unit.
Noise and vibration
Rattles, buzzing or knocking from the indoor or outdoor unit.
Gas leaks
We find the leak, repair it and pressure test before recharging the system.
Circuit boards and electronics
Including boards damaged when power returns after load shedding.
We don't just top up gas
An air conditioner that's short of refrigerant has a leak. The law requires the leak to be found and repaired before the system is recharged, so that's what we do every time. A top-up on its own only lets the gas escape again, and you pay twice.
From your call to a working system
Tell us what's wrong
Call or WhatsApp 068 347 3239, or use the contact form. Tell us the brand, any error code, and what the unit is doing.
Diagnosis visit
We attend a breakdown by the next working day and find the cause of the fault.
Written quote
You get a quote for the repair before any work starts, so there are no surprises.
Repair and test
We repair the fault, then test the system properly before we leave.
After hours and weekends: real emergencies only
We attend after hours and at weekends only when a fault is dangerous, for example when it could cause a fire. If you smell burning or see smoke, switch the unit off at its isolator or circuit breaker, keep away from it, and call us.
What a service includes
A proper service is more than a filter clean. Every service covers the whole system, and you get a written report on its condition.
Filters
Cleaned so the unit breathes freely and the air in the room stays clean.
Coils
Indoor and outdoor coils cleaned, so the unit cools properly and uses less power.
Drains
Cleared and tested, the main way to prevent water leaking indoors.
Electrical checks
Connections, supply and controls checked for safety and reliability.
Gas pressures
Operating pressures checked, so a slow leak is caught early.
Full service report
A written record of what we found and did, and anything that needs attention.
For homes and businesses
A maintenance contract takes the remembering out of it. We keep your system on schedule and you get priority when something goes wrong.
- Scheduled service visits, twice a year or more often where needed
- Priority callouts if your system breaks down
- Reminders before each service is due
Servicing keeps your warranty valid
Manufacturers' warranties stay valid only if the unit is serviced regularly. When we install a system, we set up its warranty together with a service agreement, so the two stay in step.
On our own installations, the breakdowns we have had came from missed services, not from faulty units. Planning a new system? See air conditioning installation in Cape Town.

Common questions about aircon repairs and servicing
How quickly can you come out for a breakdown?
We attend breakdowns by the next working day. After hours and at weekends we attend only real emergencies, such as a fault that could cause a fire.
Do you repair all brands?
Yes. We repair and service all brands and all types of unit, from wall-mounted splits to VRF systems and central plants.
Can you just top up the gas in my aircon?
No. A unit that's low on refrigerant has a leak, and the law requires the leak to be found and repaired before the system is recharged. We repair the leak, pressure test, then recharge.
How often should my air conditioner be serviced?
At least twice a year. In dusty industrial areas, every three months, because dust and particles clog the fins and filters much faster.
Does servicing affect my warranty?
Yes. Manufacturers' warranties stay valid only if the unit is serviced regularly. When we install a system, we set up the warranty together with a service agreement.
Aircon not working, or due for a service?
Tell us the brand, what it's doing and any error code. We'll arrange a visit by the next working day for a breakdown, or book in your service.
